Pictures

Last night we got a lot of pics taken of my new products. Yay!! Now I can start posting them on Etsy today. Here is a picture of the almond bar I made...this is my new favorite scent!!! The smell holds up so nicely in the soap. I added ground almond to the bar too for extra exfoliation. I'm glad I made a small one for myself otherwise I might have to keep this one! We also got some good photos of the dog soap I made. We got PeeWee to pose in front of the soap but then we tried to get some photos of him after he had a bath with the soap and that proved to be more difficult than we thought and we had to end up scrapping the idea because he was too wound up and wouldn't do anything we asked! Check out my Etsy page to see my new product additions!

Soaping

So this weekend was not as productive as I would have liked it to be :( I got a lot accomplished on Saturday but on Sunday I got a terrible migraine and was unable to take photos of some of my new products so I could post them to Etsy. I have a dog soap that I made and I wanted to get a photo of PeeWee in the tub being washed with it!! I also wanted to get a photo of the almond soap I made and some of the cute sample soaps I finished. Hopefully tonight I can talk Mike into taking the pics for me!

Rainy Day...

It rained all day today. I stayed in and made soap. I am working on a soap for Breast Cancer Awareness month and had to play around with some different clays I got to color the soap and I got a new mold in the mail yesterday that I was dying to use! I just finished making an almond soap with ground almond in it for exfoliation. My entire apartment smells like almond now...mmm!! I went to my favorite tea shop to pick up some vanilla tea but they were out :( I had to settle for something else so I think I will go clean up the kitchen of soap making stuff and brew myself a cup. Good night everyone!

A Day on the Farm

Last weekend we drove to a farm 2 hours upstate to "pick your own." We came home with 18 pounds of peaches and pears and a 1/2 bushel of apples! We have been eating peach cobbler and juicing with the apples all week. Our kitchen counter is so full right now! PeeWee had a blast, we let him off the leash and he was running through the orchards. He even had an encounter with a pot belly pig!
